The Hannon Library is integral to the success of all learners at Southern Oregon University. Finals Week
Events & ProgramsIf you can believe it, the 2016-17 school year is almost at an end. Hannon Library wants you to finish strong, so we’re giving you even more library hours to help you get done the many, many things that need doing. Our extended hours are also open to current students from RCC, SOU/HEC, and local high schools. Remember to bring your student ID to get in after midnight.
Finals Week Hours:
Sunday, June 11 — 11 am to 24 hours*
Monday, June 12 — open 24 hours*
Tuesday, June 13 — open 24 hours*
Wednesday, June 14 — closed at 2 am*
Thursday, June 15 — 8 am to 2 am*
Friday, June 16 — 8 am to 5 pm
Saturday, June 17 — closed
*building closed at midnight to non-students.
During the 24-hour nights, keep that study energy going with free coffee, tea, and snacks—compliments of the Friends of Hannon Library. Coffee is served up starting at midnight in the Rotunda.

Quiet Week
Library NewsRemember that, starting Sunday of Quiet Week, the library will have extended building hours. All students (including RCC, HEC, and local high school students) can make the most of library services and get a handle on those finals. Remember to bring your student ID to get in after midnight.

A Long Night in Spring

We know it’s been a long year for many of you, but let’s finish off strong with a successful spring term. Let Hannon Library help you get your research, papers, and projects in order. Come to the Long Night Against Procrastination!
Why come? First off, there’ll be free food, coffee, and tea. And if that’s enough, we’ll also have a number of services to give you that edge in the never-ending battle against deadlines: tutoring in science, math and writing; librarians providing one-on-one research assistance; academic advising; and even career advising.
New this term will be librarians dedicated to helping students with their Capstone papers – The Capstone Crisis Center, as well as Financial Aid advising.
And for those study breaks, there’ll games, coloring sheets for relaxation, and other cool activities.
