Geoff Ridden, an academic and performer, will explore this question with his upcoming talk, Where There’s a Will, There’s a Way: Playing with Shakespeare.

Geoff Ridden is the Artist Director of the Classic Readings Theatre Company, which specializes in presenting readings of adaptations of Shakespeare plays. He will share intriguing facts about these adaptations, illustrating his talk with examples from the various productions he’s been involved with. Ridden will tackle questions of why Shakespeare’s works have been adapted, and with what results.

Music in the Library

The More Fools Than Wise Madrigal Group, led by Pat O’Scannell, will perform Renaissance songs “Of Love and Grace” on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 1 PM to 2 PM in the library’s Rotunda. Come on by for this free musical performance.

Finals Week at Hannon

Finals week has descended upon us, so it’s time to push up our sleeves and dig in for that last stretch of effort. But hang in there, students. Spring Break will come before too long. Meanwhile, Hannon Library is here to help with some extra building hours:

Can you believe it? Winter term is drawing to a close, and Quiet Week is quickly approaching. But that’s okay because Hannon Library has your back. We’re extended our hours for Quiet Week so you can make the most of your time:

On March 16-18, between 7 PM and 11 PM, free snacks will be provided by the Event Planning Involvement Committee (EPIC). And be sure to visit the Writing Center and Math & Science Labs, which are offering extra hours of tutoring services.
