Thanksgiving Day is coming up! We have this day to celebrate our food, our land, and all that we are given.

The holiday stems from the original ceremonies that people would have after a plentiful harvest. Now we use it to express our thanks for the world and the things that we hold dear.

On display in the second floor Children’s Collection are recipe books for Thanksgiving favorites, along with holiday craft ideas and the history of Thanksgiving. Check it out this week as you consider what you’re thankful for.
