a cappella singing ensemble

Hannon Library’s Music in the Library series will bring the sweet sound of music to the library with a free performance by Dulcet: A Cappella.

Tuesday, February 20
12:30-1 pm
Library Rotunda

Dulcet: A Cappella is Southern Oregon University’s premiere pop a cappella group. All members of the campus and general community are invited to stop by the library and check out this free music performance.

About Dulcet

Dulcet: A Cappella is comprised of 17 members from various majors on campus. Dulcet regularly competes each year at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella. The ensemble has opened for the renowned British a cappella group Semi-Toned and performed with other SOU groups.

Dulcet was founded in the Fall of 2005 by freshmen Russell Kamp and Jesse Theissen and started with just nine singers, most of whom were brand new to a cappella music. Since then, the group has gone through a remarkable amount of growth and change, transforming into the accredited music ensemble. They have produced and been involved in benefit performances for both national causes and local organizations, and we continue to make appearances around Oregon’s Rogue Valley.

The performance is free to all.
